Shreya Ghoshal's story, an inspirational story to aspiring Indian singers. Sh e is a perfect blend of Beauty with Voice. She started her journey of singing from very childhood at the age of four. She was only eleven when she won her first contest held at New Delhi. The age when we children are busy with favorite comic heroes, she was practicing her vocals and polishing her throat.
At the age of sixteen, she was noticed by Indian filmmaker Sanjay Lila Bhansali. She made her Bollywood playback singing debut with Bhansali's romantic drama Devdas (2002) for which she received a National Film Award , a Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer and a Filmfare RD Burman Award for New Music Talent .
She got her first national ''Film Fare Award for Best Female Singer'' for track ''Dola re Dola''. And from this point Shreya Ghoshal's journey of Music caught velocity. She got about seven ''Film Fare Award for Best Female singer''. She showed the world her another face of music from track ''Jadu Hai Nasha Hai'' of film Jism. Shreya had recorded songs in various languages including Hindi, Bhojpuri, Bengali, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, That's why she is a sweet bowl of most Indian languages. Shreya gave the music industry back to back hits whether its from classical or modern music, she nailed it. Her track ''Mere Dholna Sun'' nailed classical music.

She has been honoured by the United States state of Ohio , where Governor Ted Strickland declared 26 June 2010 as "Shreya Ghoshal Day".
Shreya is currently the most dominating female singers, the first choice of movie music directors and is one of the richest female singers of Bollywood with the net worth $25 Million Indian money (Rs 150 Crore) .
She taught us to focus on one goal, even after she was offered a film role, Shreya refused it and kept the focus on her singing. Her journey has always been inspiring to all her fans. With so many achivements and a soul touching voice she is my biggest inspiration in terms of music.
