I came across Chris Sacca on Shark Tank, a TV show where entrepreneurs pitch their business ideas to a panel of investors seeking investment in exchange for a certain stake in their company.

Chris Sacca is an American investor and venture capitalist. However, he didn’t start his professional career as one. He was raised in Buffalo, New York and graduated college with a Juris Doctor cum laude in law and technology in 2000.
He began his career as an associate at a law firm called Fenwick & West based in Silicon Valley, where his major contribution was in venture capital and mergers and acquisitions. In 2003, he was hired by Google as the Head of Strategic Initiatives. His contribution was highly appreciated and he was one of the first employee recipients of the Founders’ Award.
He started out as an angel investor during his time at Google and eventually founded Lowercase Capital LLC in 2010. He is most known for his ability to identify early-stage companies in the tech industry and make game-changing investments. Some of his top investments include Twitter, Instagram, Uber and Kickstarter, the crowd-funding platform.
Having a net worth of $1.2 billion (as of March 2020), he is popular for the cowboy shirts that he sports and the occasional tiffs with Mark Cuban, a fellow panellist and billionaire on Shark Tank.
