Every individual has his own style, his own way of presenting himself on and off the field.
– SACHIN TENDULKAR
Litter to glitter? Yeah. That's what you shall aim for.
Once there lived a boy, a regular elementary school boy, who wanted to play cricket so badly, who wanted to become a cricketer so badly. His parents were against that. Although he regularly went to school, he wasn't able to score good marks in exams. His parents were worried about his future. He would just play cricket rather than studying.
He had a very good friend who was very good in studies. His parents knew his friend as well. On requesting, his friend agreed to come to his house everyday and make him study. The friend went to his house regularly to clarify all his doubts. Even then, he would score less marks in exams. His came to know about the reason why he scored less. His friend then advised him to go with cricket. His friend discussed about it with his parents and they finally agreed.
He joined cricket clubs and practised cricket a lot. Yet he couldn't cope up with the level of players who were competing against him. It was then he took Sachin Tendulkar as an inspiration, practised the way he used footwork to play shots and developed his own way of playing.
You need an inspiration to set up a goal and an idol to acheive it. Everyone finds an inspiration either in a person or in a person's works. There's a popular saying, " Lives of greatmen all remind us, we can make our lives sublime, and, departing, leave behind us, footprints on the sands of time". We try to follow paths of great people. They show us the path. But walking on it isn't that easy. So one would need a certain guide to guide that person.
