Dear MSD,
Long before in the year 2004,you made your debut in international cricket. When for the first time, I saw your unique persona, long flowing hair and that confident brisk walk to the crease, my heart skipped a beat. When during a match against Pakistan, you pulverized their bowling attack and played a knock of 148 runs, everybody knew a star was born. This was indeed just the beginning of a remarkable journey ahead.
Then came the T20 World Cup, 2007, an opportunity of a lifetime. You lead the team to victory and got your name engraved in golden words in the history of Indian Cricket. You got a new identity. You were not just a great batsmen to the world, but an equally capable leader. Soon, you took the reins of the Indian cricket team as a captain and transformed the face of Indian cricket. You became much more mature with the responsibility. Your batting style changed from a tormentor to an incredible finisher. Your zen like calmness in the toughest of situation won you many admirers across the world. In the year 2011, you gave us a memory of a lifetime by lifting the World Cup. None of us can forget the sight of your last six which sealed the final win.
You had such an amazing journey that I can go on and on and never stop. You have so much to be idolized. The younger generation has to learn a lot from you. It is my earnest request to you to join the Xpert Platform, the largest Q & A platform which bridges the gap between celebrity and the people. Looking forward to your presence on the Xpert Tv Platform.
With loads of love and best wishes,
Your ardent fan Nivedita
