1 Talent in the cradle!
Vikas Khanna is born in Amritsar,India on 14th November,1971. He was born with misaligned feet and was not able to run until he was 13. He later fixed his feet with the help of surgery.

Vikas was inspired by his grandmother who loved to cook and her kitchen became a part of his foundational training at home itself.
3 Self-made Star! 🌟
He loved developing recipes at a very young age and opened a banquet hall Lawrence Gardens, when he was only 17. He graduated from The Manipal Academy of Higher education in 1991. He also studied at Cornell University in Culinary Institute of America and New York university.

In 2010, Vikas opened an Indian restaurant, Junoon in Flatiron district of Manhattan. A favourable review from Sam Sifton (a journalist and food writer at the NY times) led him to recieve his first ever Michelin Star. He won that award by the Michelin Guide for six consecutive years since 2011.

He authored a 16 kg book called Utsav. It is gold crusted and it even has many words in gold. The book is in four parts- Sacred Essentials, Ceremonies and Rituals, Festivals and the last one is The Index.

Tareef karoon kya uski,jisne tumhe bnaya..In 2011, 'People'magazine included him in the list of 'Sexiest Men Alive and also referred to him as 'The Hottest Chef Of America'. He rejected a role offered to him by Indian director, Karan Johar.
