    At the Gopichand Academy in Hyderabad, Saina Nehwal trained under former badminton player and currently, the Chief National Coach for the Indian Badminton team, Pullela Gopichand.

    Saina Nehwal became the first Indian to win two singles gold medals (2010 and 2018) in Commonwealth Games.
